This Cairo Downtown Passages iftar celebrated the renovation of the Kodak Passage and adjacent Philips Passage as part of CLUSTER’s Cairo Downtown Passages project, and inaugurated a new phase of CLUSTER’s passageway and adjacent green rooftop development, highlighting the role slow food, urban gardens, and creative culinary initiatives can play as a revitalizing factor in the city.
This community dinner was organized by CLUSTER in the now refurbished Kodak Alley, in collaboration with local Downtown restaurant Eish + Malh, working with Slow food Cairo through its network to source organic ingredients from local farms.
