Nas Wa Turath (People and Heritage) is one of the main programs of the Egypt Heritage Network. The aim of the network is to raise awareness about heritage in addition to preserving the Egyptian tangible and intangible heritage through the participation, communications and collaboration between all the interested parties, whether experts or non-specialists, as well as cooperation between initiatives, associations and institutions in various Egyptian cities and regions.

The People and Heritage event was held for the second consecutive year and included 12 initiatives from seven different Egyptian cities. The activities included a series of panel discussions, concerts, performances, walking and bicycles tours and workshops. A wide range of initiatives from Cairo, Alexandria, Port said, Mansura, Minya and Qusayr participated in the network’s event.
